I have over 20 years experience working in nonprofit organizations, and know what it takes to be an effective team member while handling the demands of the job.  As a coach, I work one-on-one with employees to assist them in improving their performance.  This individualized attention is often much more effective in creating change than trainings or supervision alone.

How it works:

1.  To get started, I speak with the employee and employee’s manager about specific areas of concern.  Together we and to identify desired outcomes and the goals of coaching.

2.  My coaching services are provided to individual employees over the phone or by Skype.  Sessions last for 45 minutes and are scheduled either weekly or biweekly.

3.  During coaching sessions, I make sure that the employee feels heard.  Together we explore barriers to better performance and determine action steps.  Some of the skills we address are organization, prioritization, communication, and balancing personal and work life. An email follow-up is provided at the end of each call to outline plans.

4.  While the specific content of sessions remains confidential, periodic follow-up meetings are held with the employee and the manager to determine progress.
